Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro, two smartphones positioned below the brand’s absolute flagships but still carrying high-end features. Both devices bring larger displays, refined designs, stronger camera systems, and bigger batteries compared to their predecessors.
Both phones are also available in Pakistan for pre-booking.
Design and Display
The Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro both feature 6.83-inch OLED panels, larger than the 6.67-inch screens on last year’s 14T series. Despite the increase in size, the handsets are slimmer and manage to house bigger batteries.
The 15T Pro offers a 144Hz refresh rate, while the 15T runs at 120Hz. Both panels support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, with peak brightness reaching 3,200 nits. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos complete the multimedia experience.
In terms of durability, both devices carry an IP68 rating, certified for submersion up to three meters in water. The displays are protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, while the Pro uses a 7.96mm aluminum alloy frame weighing 210g. The 15T measures 7.5mm thick, weighs 194g, and is expected to use a plastic frame. The Xiaomi 15T is available in Black, Gray, and Rose Gold, while the Xiaomi 15T Pro comes in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold.
Internals and Software
The Xiaomi 15T Pro runs on the Dimensity 9400+, a flagship-tier chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. Its 3D IceLoop cooling system enhances sustained performance for demanding tasks such as gaming.
The standard Xiaomi 15T is powered by the Dimensity 8400-Ultra, which is a high-end chip but not quite a flagship. It is also coupled with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Both phones ship with HyperOS 3 and come with advanced connectivity. The Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, while the 15T uses Wi-Fi 6E. Both devices include Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an offline phone-to-phone communication system, offering up to 1.9km range on the Pro and 1.3km on the standard version.
Camera
The Xiaomi 15T Pro retains the 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion sensor (1/1.31”, f/1.62, OIS) for its main camera and introduces a new 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom (115mm, f/3.0, OIS). The system also includes a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view and a 32MP selfie camera. Video capabilities extend to 8K at 30fps, 4K at up to 120fps, and 10-bit Log recording at 4K 60fps.
The Xiaomi 15T is equipped with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor (1/1.55”, f/1.7, OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom (46mm), a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP front camera. While it lacks 8K recording, it supports HDR10+ video at 4K 30fps and 10-bit Log mode at 4K 60fps.
Both models benefit from Leica Summilux lenses and enhanced Portrait Master modes for refined photography.
Battery and Pricing
The two devices carry larger 5,500 mAh batteries, an increase from 5,000 mAh in the previous generation. The Xiaomi 15T Pro supports 90W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge, while the standard 15T charges at 67W via cable.
In Pakistan, the official prices are as follows:
- Xiaomi 15T: Rs. 169,999
- Xiaomi 15T Pro: Rs. 233,999 (12GB + 512GB)
Xiaomi also offers one free screen replacement within six months of purchase and labor-free out-of-warranty repairs during the first year. Both phones are officially available for pre-order right now from MiStore.pk (the official authorized Xiaomi reseller store in Pakistan) and should arrive in other stores, offline and online, shortly afterward.
