Joining the league of superstars like John Legend, Billie Eilish and many more, Meesha Shafi will be performing at this virtual concert that will reach millions across the globe who are currently under lockdown due to the outbreak of the global pandemic. The online event is in collaboration with Music Together ON, which describes itself as a ‘living room concert series to pay artists in need’, and Small World Music.
Meesha Shafi informed her fans to look out for her online performance which will stream at 7:10 am in Pakistan on Saturday, May 9. The livestream will be available on the URGNT Facebook page.
The URGNT live concerts are created in response to the outbreak of COVID-19 around the globe. They are using this as a platform to not only help artists but also provide the audiences with engaging content while the world struggles to stay sane. There is also a Gofundme page set up by the organizers to help pay for the costs that go into organizing the concerts.
Meesha Shafi was seen and is a regular on “Pepsi Battle of the Bands” where she judges different bands from across the country alongside Fawad Khan, and Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia of Strings.
