As the pandemic situation worsen in Pakistan, efforts are being made to help the people economically being affected by the situation. Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar launched this initiative to help the poor and deserving families during times of hardship due to coronavirus.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Tuesday, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmed Khan Bazdar said that the Punjab government has allocated Rs 10 billion for financial assistance of 2.5 million needy families in the province in the fund known as “Insaf Imdad Program 2020 Govt of Punjab”.
Under the Insaf Imdad package, the government of Punjab will distribute Rs. 12,000 each month among daily wage workers and people from lower socio-economic class in Punjab during the lockdown.
The daily wagers and labourers can register themselves by applying through the procedure set by the Government of Punjab. Following are the ways to apply for the program:
There are three ways to apply for CM Punjab Insaf Imdad Package
1- Fill out the below application form online Apply. https://insafimdad.punjab.gov.pk/
By visiting the website, the applicant can apply for the program by only filling your name, CNIC and mobile number.
2- Download Insaf Imdad App from Google Play Store
Another easy way to apply for the program is to simply download the above app and simply fill the form and submit.
3- Send your details at 8070 through SMS
Write in the SMS: Imdad (space) CNIC No (space) Mobile No(space) Name (E.g. Imdad 3540200000005 03001234567 Ali Imran)
Who is not eligible for this Program:
People who fall in any of the following are not eligible for Insaf Imdad Program:
- Serving/retired government or private employees
- Owner of car/bike
- People who are already enrolled in any other welfare program
- Utility bills per month should not be more than PKR 10,000
