For its undergraduate programs, IBA Karachi amid the COVID-19 has chosen to redesign the admission process. BBA, BS Accounting and Finance, BS Economics and BS Social Sciences and Liberal Arts programs admission tests were planned to hold on July 5, 2020 are now replaced with an Alternative Assessment Criteria.
According to their Alternative Assessment Criteria short listing of applicants will be dependent upon earlier academic qualifications, co-curricular activities, social internships, achievements and the personal statements by the applicants.
IBA Executive Director Dr. S Akbar Zaidi anounced these policy changes, and said that the quick movement and pragmatic changes are set out as a necessity to adhere to public health and safety guidelines issued by the government and for the safety of all stakeholders.
IBA Karachi encourages all candidates to apply for admissions and complete all the requirements preferably before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience at the last moment. Moreover, IBA Karachi expects to begin the next academic year on time following all the SOPs as prescribed by the government and the HEC.
