Since the lockdown has been implemented and all commercial and educational activities came to a halt in the country, there has been uncertainty on when the papers of Metric and Inter will be taking place as they got postponed from originally taking place this April this year.
According to the latest notification released by The Sindh Education Department, Matriculation examinations in Sindh will start from June 15 whereas the higher secondary school exams will start from July 6.
The announcement came on Tuesday where schedule for secondary and higher secondary school examinations in the province was shared.
Summer vacations in the province will last until May 30, the notification said. The notification also shared that later this year, winter vacations will be happening from December 20 to 31st.
The halt in country wide activities is on account of the widespread pandemic in the world, that has claimed millions of lives.
