Pakistan’s Textile products demand has reached a historic high, causing a massive gap of demand-supply of cloth of around 700 million meters.
Due to the huge demand Faisalabad textile industry is confronting the highest deficiency of supply in history. The normal production limit of the textile sector in Faisalabad is 900 crore meters.Even though factories work 24/7, still they’re not able to meet the massive demand that they are getting.
Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan took notice immediately and issued orders to find and fix the loopholes in the supply chain as soon as possible. He further took over Twitter and tweeted:
As the Faisalabad textile industry sees a massive rise in demand & export orders, I have instructed the Commerce & Industries Ministries to ensure all necessary support to the textile sector to enable them to meet their growing demands.
