The main motive behind the company’s initiative was to administrate the vaccine for front-line workers and high-risk individuals in Jiaxing, a city of China’s Zhejiang province, under the national emergency program.The single dose of vaccine will cost$30, as revealed by Jiaxing’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Johnson & Johnson:

Johnson & Johnson stopped their coronavirus vaccine trial last month due to the study that showed that the individual developed an unexplained illness. The company has resumed its trials and have announced that their single dose of vaccine will cost $10.

Sputnik V:

The Russian coronavirus vaccine has claimed to be 92% effective for the infection, these claims were made by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). RDIF also published last stage clinical trials result. The prices of the vaccine haven’t been announced yet by RDIF, but it is anticipated that the prices will be lesser than the Moderna and Pfizer Biotech’s vaccine.


The British company AstraZeneca in collaboration with Oxford University has also developed a coronavirus vaccine and they have claimed that their vaccine offers significant immunity to high-risk age groups individuals. According to the British company, the vaccine will $4 per dose.

Novavax Inc:
