Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed singer and actor Ali Zafar as ambassador to the Namal Knowledge City.
Ali Zafar announced this news on social media via his official twitter account, saying: “Honoured to be nominated ambassador to the first & biggest knowledge city in Pakistan “Namal Knowledge City” envisioned by the honorable Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI designed by @tonyashai.”

Namal Knowledge Center is an institution providing excellence in education for the marginalised population residing in remote areas of the country.
On Saturday, PM Imran performed a ground breaking ceremony of Namal Knowledge City phase 1 in Mianwali.
The Prime Minister was informed that after the completion of the first phase, more than 10,000 students from disadvantaged areas would benefit from the City of Knowledge.

The prime minister on Monday shared the master plan of his “dream knowledge city”, the major construction of which is expected to end by 2027.
The Prime Minister expressed his desire to turn this institute into an internationally renowned center of excellence.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also heartily thanked for the contributions made by donors worth millions of dollars.
It was also informed that the project would be environmentally friendly and a state of the art green structure.
