After taking a long and “unending” hiatus from television, Sanam Jung is finally back with her latest serial, Qaraar, that is soon to air on HUM TV.
The main cast of the drama includes Muneeb Butt, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Sanam Jung and Rabab Hashim in the story, supporting cast include Ali Safina.
HUM TV uploaded the promo of the latest drama serial on its social media.
This time around Sanam Jung seems to be playing a different character then her usual, “good girl, next door” and her role is of a cunning woman who seems to be manipulating multiple men as to what suits her and breaking many hearts on the way.
Muneeb Butt has also disappeared from screens after his hit TV serial, “Kaisa Hai Naseebaan”.
“I always try to challenge myself with the roles that I pick – because I think that is what ultimately helps me grow as an actor,” Rabab Hashim said while talking about this latest project. “I am pleased and excited to be a part of this project because it is truly a great story and can’t wait for it to reach everyone else out there too!”
The drama is a project of MD Productions, it will be produced and directed by Barkat Siddiqui. It will be aired on HUM TV.
This drama also comes from Barkat Siddiqui who previously directed “Mujhe Khuda Pe Yaqeen Hai” on Hum TV in 2013 for which he earned nominations as Best Director Drama Serial and Best Drama Serial at 2nd Hum Awards.
