The long and hard wait has finally paid off, Marvel Studios has found its Ms Marvel.
Marvel has chosen Newcomer Iman Vellani to play Kamala Khan is “Ms. Marvel” for upcoming Disney+ show, which is based on Marvel’s first Muslim superhero, according to deadline.
Iman Vellani also shared this amazing news on her Instagram account saying that she is speechless and quite excited for her upcoming major project for Marvel. She also asked her loved one’s to Wish her Luck!

Marvel and the streamer also revealed that Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon will be the directors on this project.
The story is about a young 16 years old Pakistani-American girl “Kamala Khan” from New Jersey, who became Marvel Comics’ first Muslim character to introduce her own comic book.
Ms. Marvel first debut in February 2014, introducing Marvel’s first Muslim character, and now Iman Vellani will be the first ever on-screen Muslim-Hero in Marvel Studios.
Kevin Feige, Marvel Chief said that in the future, the character will be added in Marvel films too.
Marvel also unveiled some super-powers of the character, Khan will have “an Inhuman ability to change shape and size. Moreover, employs an idealistic attitude as much as any power to make the world a better place.”
Ms. Marvel was created by writer G. Willow Wilson, artist Adrian Alphona and editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker and was announced in 2019 during the D23 Expo, along with Moon Knight and She-Hulk.
Currently, the release date for Ms Marvel is not confirmed but reportedly, Disney plans to release the series exclusively on Disney+.
