The upcoming biopic revolves around the life of a budding cricketer, who has struggled from being a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) in Ranchi to make his name known in cricket both nationally and internationally.
Speaking about his biopic, Dhoni said he was surprised to see Sushant portraying him so well. “He (Sushant) has worked very hard. He was practicing every day for more than nine months. He was batting every day for over three hours when it comes to portraying the (cricket) shots.”
He further added, “Also the way I walk, the way I talk, he has copied almost everything. In fact, I was amazed to see him do all these things.”
According to the news, the actor and a very good friend of Dhoni, John Abraham will also give an appearance in the movie as Yuvraj Singh. Also there is a great buzz around Fawad Khan playing as Virat Kohli in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Seen along with the actor Sushant Rajput, Kiara Advani will be playing as Sakshi Dhoni, Dhoni’s wife in the film, while Anupam Kher will be seen as Dhoni’s father.
According to its makers, the film is going to be the widest release ever in India along with 60 screens internationally. Arun Pandey, the producer of the film said, “We are pleased to inform that the film will be the widest ever release for a film in India and worldwide with it releasing in 60 countries. We wanted to release our film in Marathi and Punjabi too.
