After director some of the cult classics in the Pakistani Entertainment Industry, director Mehreen Jabbar is on fire with completing the shoot for yet another short web series, “Meray Dost Meray Yaar 2 ” after releasing the trailer poster for the Bilal Abbas starrer short series “Aik Jhooti Love Story”.
Meray Dost Meray Yaar 2 is a short web series that is a musical and is the story of a band and the lives and adventures of its members.
The cast of Meray Dost Meray Yaar 2 includes Asim Azhar, Hania Aamir, singer Ali Hamza, Asad Siddiqui, Mariyam Nafees, Hamzah Tariq Jamil, Behroz Sabzwari and Marina Khan.
The director extraordinaire shared the wrap up shot on her Instagram:
Mehreen Jabbar also worked on the project with the extraordinary musician, Ali Hamza of the band “Noori”.
Mehreen Jabbar is also gearing up for the release of her web series, “Aik Jhooti Love Story” on Zee5 live streaming service.
‘Aik Jhooti Love Story’ – The web series was shot in Karachi. Mehreen shared that she “loved the entire cast and crew. Think I had one of the best ensemble casts”.
According to Mehreen Jabbar Aik Jhooti Love story will be social comedy series. The story will revolve around love triangle.
“I’ll be playing the role of a typical Karachi boy with his usual dreams and aspirations. Just the normalcy of it is fun to explore as an actor and of course a new learning experience for me,” Bilal Abbas on his role in Aik Jhooti Love Story.
The audience is definitely hyped up and is looking forward to some amazing series and work by the famed director
