KIA Motors, is a South Korean multinational automaker, who recently joined hands with “Yunus Brother Group” to bring the 4th Gen KIA Sportage basic LX trim level back in Pakistani marketplace, which will be only front wheel drive. Last year, KIA launched their Sportage with both AWD and FWD versions, and now this year, they are trying to do the same. The all new KIA Sportage comes with exciting new features, innovation and great comfort.

Exterior
First, let us talk about the exterior look of the new KIA Sportage LX, it features a very bulky, bold and muscular exterior design. The car has a tiger nose grille at front and has beautiful shape on side. It comes only with 17-inch alloy rims, the roof is fixed and has extended wheelbase. The satin silver color on the Sportage gives it an elegant and decent look.
It is installed with Bi-Xenon headlights that has the capability to utilize a single headlight to generate both high and low beams. Moreover, the Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) will help you while you are turning around corner while driving. At the back we will have Halogen lights, plus there will be no fog lights or parking sensors installed.
Interior:
The KIA Sportage LX 2020, has a highly spaced sitting area. It is a seating capacity of 5 people with comfortable seats. It has a manual hand-brake system and a 7-inch LCD based infotainment system. We can also see a beautiful analogue and digital RPM Meter, Also, it will be offering all the basic features such as dual-zone climate control, USB and AUX ports, steering controls for infotainment, driver-passenger airbags, Hill start assist, downhill brake control and vehicle stability and traction control.
Engine Performance:
The new KIA Sportage is well known for their extreme power and excellent fuel economy. The vehicle features two four-cylinder turbo engines, which are 2.0L or 2.4L, capable of making 240 horsepower and 196 Newton/Meters of torque, that will offer a 6-speed automatic transmission to give you a smooth and relaxing drive.
Price:
KIA has started booking of their new Sportage LX trim level 2020 in Pakistan, and the price tag ranges between Rs. 4,399,000 to 5,399,000.
It is worth mentioning that, KIA Sportage has given a tough competition to other auto-makers such as Toyota Fortuner, Honda Vezel, Suzuki Vitara and Nissan Juke in regard to features. But still, if we compare KIA Sportage and Fortuner with price, KIA seems to be a far more better option due to a huge price gap of around Rs. 3,300,000 between them.
Although, we cannot say that the changes made in this year KIA are really “upgrades”, but still, it has great comfort level for a big family and without compromising a large amount of features, the price is quite affordable.
