Pakistan’s Coke Studio super-hit song, ‘Pasoori’ with over 200 Million views on YouTube has been featured in the fourth episode of the Ms. Marvel web series and the desi fans are super-excited. The Pasoori song by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill became an absolute banger since its launch not just in Pakistan, but around the globe. Everyone is in just love with the song and it also became the ‘Song of the Year’ for 2022. After the song got featured, Ali Sethi also shared the news on his Instagram account.
“Did you catch us in @msmarvelofficial episode 4? Pasoori pow,” Ali wrote in his caption.
Another reason to love Ms. Marvel’s episode four was the fact that it was Directed by our very own Oscar-winning filmmaker, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Moreover, desi fans also got to see Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan landing in Karachi to meet her grandmother, essayed by Pakistani veteran Samina Ahmed.
Director Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy already dropped some hints and revealed that she had directed episodes four and five and has worked with the renowned Pakistani actor ‘Fawad Khan.’ In the fourth episode, we also got to see a glimpse of The Humsafar star, who plays the character of Kamala’s great-grandfather and fans catch him as Sana shows Kamala an old picture of him.
Alongside the smash-hit song ‘Pasoori,’ The fourth episode also featured some of the biggest Pakistani hits in 2022 including SomeWhatSuper and Abid Brohi’s The Sibbi Song, and Nazia Hassan’s Disco Deewane! Honestly speaking, all of these surprises in a single Ms. Marvel episode did make us Pakistanis a little teary-eyed.
