The two talented actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor have come a long way after their first movie “Saawariya” together. 2017 will make their comeback as a pair with upcoming Sanjay Dutt’s biopic film.
2006 was the time when both newbies of the B-town marked their debut together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. Both the actors didn’t share screen space after their first debut. After almost 10 years, both Ranbir and Sonam will be featured in Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic of Sanjay Dutt.
Ranbir will be performing the role of Sanjay Dutt and Sonam will play one of his many actresses Sanjay Dutt dated in his time.
It is also reported that Sanjay Dutt Biopic with Ranbir Kapoor & Sonam Kapoor Confirmed! who starred along with Ranbir in Bombay Velvet, is also going to be a part of this biopic. Looks like Anushka has become favorite of Rajkumar Hirani as she played the lead role in PK. In the Sanjay Dutt’s biopic film, Anushka will be playing the role of a journalist. Yes. Your guess is right; it will be based on Rhea Pillai, Sanjay Dutt’s first wife. Rhea who is a former model is recognized for her work in advertisement and televisions industries.
Some reports also claim that Sonam’s role will be a fictional amalgamation of different woman that Sanjay dated back in 1980’s and 90’s. It was also reported that Madhuri Dixit requested the makers to not include her character specifically in the film. Looks like Sonam’s fictional amalgamation is the result of the request.
Stepping into the shoes of our very own Munna Bhai, Ranbir will be undergoing a complete transformation in order to look like the character. The film is expected to hit the theatres on Christmas 2017 and will feature various life aspects including his success, his hit films, imprisonment and several controversies.
