Veteran actress and director of Pakistani Entertainment industry, Rubina Ashraf, tested positive for coronavirus last week. Legendary actress Rubina Ashraf contracted Covid-19 on June 3 and she had quarantined herself at home.
The news spread after Pakistani actor Syed Sajid Hasan posted a message on his official Twitter handle.

Rubina Ashraf recently directed the hit play “Ruswai” which earned wide spread recognition as well as critical acclaim.
After the Supreme Court and Prime Minister ruled out any chance of a strict lockdown to be observed in the country again, coronavirus has been spreading in the country like wild fire. And as of yesterday, the coronavirus cases in the country have crossed the 100,000 mark.
There have been about 100,684 confirmed cases with 33,465 recoveries and 2,002 deaths in the country. Punjab has recorded the most cases at over 37,000, and has also reported the most deaths in the country, a total of 659. The country was put under a nation-wide lockdown until 9 May, which was initiated on 1 April and later extended twice. Upon its end, the lockdown was eased in phases.
