After being tested for coronavirus and staying quarantined for 14 days, actors and power couple Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz have finally come out of their isolation and donated plasma for the treatment of critical patients.
According to Dow University of Health Sciences, the couple arrived at the facility on Saturday after recovering from the disease.

“Yasir Nawaz and Nida Yasir came today at the Dow to donate plasma after being recovered from Covid-19. Here is what Yasir has to say about Plasma Donation ‘Your plasma can save two more life, if you have recovered from Covid19, please donate your plasma and be a lifesaver’,” an official post by Dow read.
The actor and director Yasir Nawaz took to his Instagram to share the news, saying: “Please donate plasma and help save lives”.
“I am making this video to appeal to those people who are familiar with me or give even the slightest weight to my words, to donate their plasma,” he said.
He added, “This is an act of kindness. By the grace of God you managed to make it out through testing times. So it’s your duty now to donate your plasma to serve humanity.” Earlier, some other famous Pakistan television stars including Alizah Shah, Sakina Samo, Bilal Maqsood, Salman Ahmed Naveed Raza, Rahim Shah, and Rubina Ashraf tested positive for COVID-19.
Rubina was later rushed to the hospital but is now doing better. Even comedians Vasay Chaudhry and Shafaat Ali tested positive for the virus, and are now quarantined.
A number of Pakistani politicians including Railway Minister of Pakistan Sheikh Rashid and former prime minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Shahbaz Sharif have also tested positive for coronavirus.
The coronavirus pandemic has killed over 3,000 people and affected more than 150,000 others in Pakistan.
