Karachi aka ‘The City of Lights’ is the largest city in Pakistan and is best known for its beautiful Seaview points, food, and many historical places. However, Karachi is also very famous for having numerous haunted places, and we would always recommend you to never visit these haunted places alone because they will definitely challenge your bravery.
Mohatta Palace:
The famous Mohatta Palace was the summer home of a Rajasthan businessman and was built way back in 1927. The Palace has now been converted into a museum with exhibits on maps & cultural artifacts, plus beautiful surrounding gardens. The palace has also become very popular among people for Wedding photoshoots and events. However, the museum guards have claimed that they hear mysterious sounds in the palace’s rooms, Wine glasses floating through the air, and objects getting re-arranged every morning. The guards also said that they have “felt” the presence of certain spirits during the night in the museum.
The Bride of Karsaz, Karsaz Road:
It is said that in the 1970s, a young couple was driving their way home on their wedding night. The newlywed husband was driving the car but due to a tiring wedding day, he fell asleep and the couple met a terrible accident at Karsaz road. Since the tragic incident, people have been reporting seeing a bride in a wedding dress on Karsaz road. People claim that she comes to drivers whose vehicles mysteriously stop on the road at night, and shows her last moments on the road as she tried to help her dying husband.
House No. 39-K, PECHS:
Many Residents from the Pakistan Employees Cooperative Housing Society have insisted on seeing a light glowing around house No. 39-K. In the house, they have also seen a pale woman wearing a white dress. The pale woman in a white dress is often seen walking along the street and disappearing at about 03:00 in the morning.
Chowkandi Graveyard:
The 600-year-old Chowkandi graveyard is among the oldest graveyard in Pakistan located on the National Highway of Karachi. It is also considered one of the most haunted graveyards in the country, where nobody dares to visit after sunset because the local residents believe they will experience some unusual/paranormal activities.
People say they hear people’s screams and have also witnessed ghosts, they also believe that individuals perform Black Magic within the graveyard.
Shireen Cinema:
Cinemas are usually very fun to visit and watch your favorite movies with your friends and family, but Karachi Shieen Cinema is not your regular fun place at all. The Shireen Cinema is one of the most haunted places in Karachi where ghosts come to watch movies.
It is located in the North of Karachi and has been closed to the public for one and a half years since the people and cinema staff started feeling some unusual things happening in the cinema like hearing different voices of people talking at the back row of the cinema at night knowing no one is in the cinema at that time, water drips from the taps where there is no pipeline for water.
