Amitabh Bachchan becomes New Voice of Amazon's Alexa

As companies from around the world come up with ideas after ideas to work a profit from the biggest Asian economy, India, Amazon has aced the competition as the tech giant announces Amitabh Bachan to be the first Indian celebrity to lend his voice to Amazon’s Alexa digital assistant.

The country leader for Alexa Amazon India, Puneesh Kumar said,
“Mr. Bachchan’s voice is truly memorable for any Indian who has grown-up with Bollywood. This combination delivers a perfect pitch to further delight and simplify the lives of our customers. We are excited to see how our customers will respond when they use Alexa and hear his voice.”

“It will include popular offerings like jokes, weather, shayaris, motivational quotes, advice and more,” the firm shared.

“The Amazon Alexa team will work closely with Mr Bachchan to capture the iconic voice from the Shehenshah (meaning king of kings, the name of one of his movies) of Bollywood and deliver a unique voice experience to customers,” Amazon said in a statement on Monday.
Jeff Bezos had announced to invest $1 Billion dollars in the Indian market to digitize small and large firms all across the country.

Amitabh Bachan is one of the or maybe the greatest celebrity in India who has appeared in a number of iconic Indian movies and the famed game show “Who Wants To be A Millionaire”, the Indian version.

Bol-Bachchan Speak is the popular vocal blog that Bachan has been lending his voice for years.
