International Islamic University: Admission process, Degree programs, Eligibility, Fee Structure and everything else

Established in 1980, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) is a pubic research university in Islamabad. IIUI is the only Pakistani Higher Education Institution set up upon the standards as indicated by the teachings of Islam and the growing research in the modern world.

The main aim for the establishment of IIUI was to set up “a focal point for the dissemination of Islamic thought in Pakistan and South-East Asia.” In 1981 Usuluddin, the school of Islamic Studies was made. Which later followed by the establishment of the International Institute of Islamic Studies, two years later. IIUI also publishes quarterly journals in three languages, i.e., Arabic, Urdu, and English. Apart from other Pakistani higher education institutions, IIUI has a huge emphasis on Arabic languages. Currently, nearly 32,000 students are enrolled in its two campuses in Islamabad.

IIUI is a focal point of Islam, theology, and Islamic studies… Moreover, it also offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in law, science, engineering & technology, humanities, arts, religious studies, social and natural sciences, which will be discussed later in the article.
