It was announced today by the Government of Pakistan that the Kamyab Jawan Program (KJP) has resumed and it has started accepting the loan application process for the arrangement of soft loans to the youth of Pakistan. This soft loan project was initiated under the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan to help youthful business visionaries for the fulfillment of their potential.
As per the eligibility criteria, any male or female between the age of 21 to 45 is eligible to apply for a loan to achieve their pioneer interests. All the eligible candidates can visit http://www.kamyabjawan.gov.pk and fill out an online application form. When the application is submitted, the candidates can check their status on the concerned bank’s official website.
Since its launch in October this year, KJP has become a massively fruitful endeavor for the youth as about PKR 1.4 billion have been distributed among the youth entrepreneurs in terms of soft loans under the program.
Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs stated that among all the loans given 30 percent of them were given to the females while the rest 70 person were given to the male entrepreneurs. According to the reports it was also highlighted that the loans going from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 500,000 and Rs. 0.5 million to Rs. 5 million have been provided to all the eligible applicants.
How to Apply for the Program:
Following are the steps to apply and register for the program:
1. Visit the Official Website:
First of all log on to (http://www.kamyabjawan.gov.pk)after getting there apply for the loan and scroll down the page.
2. Click the Read More Button:
After scrolling down the page, just below the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) option you’ll find the “Read More” button. Click on it and it will guide you to the next page. Here press or click down “Apply Online for Loan” button.
3. Fill out the Form:
In the next window you’ll find a form. To proceed further click on “OK” button. There will be a disclaimer note go through it and read carefully and fill out the form according to it.
Point to be Kept in Mind while Filling the Form:
While filling out the application form some points are to be kept in mind which are as follows:
- Fill the form with your original CNIC number and correct Issuance date. Id incorrect values are inserted, your application will not be processed on grounds of false verification.
- Fill info in all required sections provided, all fields are mandatory.
- When the form has been completely filled, Proceed to Step 2. You’ll be led to an affidavit; read it carefully.
4. Submit the Form:
When you have completed your form, go through it and confirm if all the entered details are accurate. Then submit the form and wait for your application to be processed. It will take about 25 to 30 days for your applications to be processed.
