Unilever presents Shehzad Roy performing Pakistani National Anthem wearing a face mask

With lock down all over the country nearly lifted, people are coming back to the “normal” and known way of living but many still are struggling for their lives, maybe few in number but there are many and so it is of utmost importance to not forget that the global widespread pandemic is causing chaos across the world and is still not over.

 

Highlighting this very message, Unilever came out with “The National Anthem As Sung Through Face Masks”, which features Shehzad Roy.

The aim of the video is to show people that though due to economic crisis the lock down has been lifted, the pandemic still lingers on and we have to be careful as Shehzad Roy performs with his mask on, highlighting the significant importance of prioritizing safety during these critical days.

The video ends with a clear message, “Pak Sur zameen ho gi Corona se pak, jub saraay Pakistani pehnain ge mask.”

This highlights the strong message that Pakistan needs to prepare for the much dangerous second wave that has been predicted by experts.

With this stirring rendition of the national anthem, we aim to reinforce the importance of continued attention to safe behaviors and inspire Pakistanis to better protect themselves.”

The simple acts of wearing a mask; ensuring hand hygiene and maintaining the required physical distancing can help save lives and we hope that this message inspires us all to do so,” he added.
